We have always been intrigued by the image of an owl.

From time immemorial, this is a well-known symbol of wisdom that can be found in the cultures of different countries. In the painting "Winged Shadow" we combine the image of an owl with the image of a young girl in a traditional Tibetan headdress. Her necklace is also of Tibetan origin.

With a deep, dark background, the picture leaves the impression of a mysterious fairy tale or oriental legend that old people tell their grandchildren on long winter evenings.
